Please read these terms carefully before using Oryon Health Care. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Oryon Health Care, including our website, related pages and booking services (collectively, the "Platform"). By registering for an account, browsing hospitals, or booking an ambulance or room through the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
2. Eligibility & Accounts
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
- Accounts may be used to make bookings for yourself or for a dependant/patient you are authorised to act on behalf of.
3. Nature of Our Service
Oryon Health Care is a technology platform that helps you discover hospitals, compare specialities, and book hospital rooms or emergency ambulances listed by third-party hospitals and service providers. Oryon Health Care is not a hospital, a medical practitioner, or a healthcare provider, and does not itself provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Availability, pricing, ratings and facility details shown for each hospital are provided by or sourced from the respective hospital and are subject to change.
4. Hospital & Room Bookings
- Room and bed availability is confirmed at the time of booking but may change due to circumstances at the hospital; we will inform you promptly if a confirmed booking cannot be honoured.
- You are responsible for verifying the details of the hospital, ward type and charges before confirming a booking.
- Medical treatment, admission decisions and quality of care are the sole responsibility of the hospital, not Oryon Health Care.
5. Ambulance Bookings
- Ambulance requests are dispatched to the nearest available provider based on the pickup location you provide; response times can vary due to traffic, distance and provider availability.
- For life-threatening emergencies, always also contact your local emergency helpline in addition to booking through the Platform.
- You are responsible for providing an accurate pickup location and contact number so the ambulance can reach you without delay.
6. Payments, Cancellations & Refunds
- All payments are processed securely through our third-party payment gateway partners.
- Cancellation and refund eligibility for a room or ambulance booking depends on the policy of the specific hospital or service provider and the timing of your cancellation request.
- Approved refunds are credited back to the original payment method and may take a few business days to reflect, depending on your bank or payment provider.
- You can view the status of your bookings and payments at any time under My Bookings.
7. User Responsibilities & Conduct
When using the Platform, you agree not to:
- Provide false, misleading or impersonated information during registration or booking
- Make fraudulent bookings or misuse emergency ambulance services
- Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorised access to the Platform or its underlying systems
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
8. Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform — including the Oryon Health Care name, logo, design, layout and software — is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or reuse this content without our prior written permission, other than for your own personal, non-commercial use of the Platform.
9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Oryon Health Care does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Platform.
- Oryon Health Care is not liable for the quality of medical treatment, facilities, or conduct of any hospital, doctor or ambulance provider listed on the Platform.
- Oryon Health Care's liability for any claim arising from your use of the Platform is limited to the amount, if any, paid by you for the specific booking giving rise to the claim.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Oryon Health Care, its owners and staff harmless from any claims, losses or expenses arising out of your misuse of the Platform, violation of these Terms, or violation of any rights of a third party.
11. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or misused emergency services. You may also close your account at any time by contacting us.
12. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Platform will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts having jurisdiction over our place of business.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
